Watermark Restaurant

Elevated Southern Fine Dining

They say that you shouldn't let your past define you...we say that depends on your past. In 1865, Andrew Marshall and J.H. Bruce founded Marshall & Bruce Printing Co., eventually finding itself here in Nashville's Gulch. Surviving a fire, the Great Depression, and World War II, this printing company, known for it's quality and heritage would eventually leave this location to an office on Davidson Street - but not before making an indelible mark on the area. You can still see the red and blue "MB" logo painted on our exterior. We feel that the same passion for quality that drove Marshall & Bruce to persist are imbued within these humble brick and mortar walls. We intend to continue that legacy of quality and a commitment to people.

Watermark Restaurant has been in operation for nearly a decade. During that time, the area of Nashville known as The Gulch has grown to become a thriving hub of business and fine dining - a popular destination for locals, college students, and out of town visitors alike.

Get the best view of The Gulch in our elevated open air garden patio. Happy hour in our lounge is from 5pm - 7pm and features great selections on drinks and appetizers.
